We are searching for a dedicated Independent Pharmacy Pharmacist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing and providing pharmaceutical care in an independent community pharmacy setting, ensuring optimal medication therapy and delivering personalized patient care. The ideal candidate will possess a background in community pharmacy or a willingness to learn, a commitment to patient well-being, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities :
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently to patients, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Conduct comprehensive medication reviews to identify, resolve, and prevent medication-related problems.
- Provide patient counseling and education on medication use, adherence, potential side effects, and health maintenance.
- Develop personalized medication action plans and ensure proper medication management and adherence.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy and enhance patient outcomes.
- Manage inventory and procurement of medications and supplies, ensuring proper storage and handling.
- Assist patients with insurance claims, prior authorization processes, and finding cost-effective medication alternatives.
