Job Summary :

As a Pharmacy Intern, you bring a fresh perspective and a strong foundation in pharmaceutical knowledge to support our team in delivering exceptional patient care. Key Position Details :

• This position will include coverage at both campuses of Mercy Hospital - Coon Rapids and Fridley
• Position will be up to 10 hours per week
• This will include a weekend rotation, on average every third weekend

Job Description :

Responsible for preparing, dispensing, and checking medications, obtaining medication histories, and ensuring effective flow of operations within the pharmacy. Interns work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Provides assistance and support to the pharmacists and technicians in the clinical and distributive operations of the department.

Principle Responsibilities

Fills first doses and refill floor stock.

Delivers medications, IVs and supplies as needed.

Performs medication reconciliation interview with patient.
