We are actively recruiting for a Clinical Supervisor, Pharmacy Services to join our team at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC.
The Pharmacy Supervisor provides direct daily supervision of pharmacy operations to achieve optimal integration of distributive and patient care activities. The Pharmacy Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Manager / Director in implementing and monitoring programs, personnel, budget and finance, compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, with MedStar policies and procedures, and with professional society standards (ASHP, USP, TJC, State BOP, and guidelines. Also, this position is responsible for providing pharmacy services to patients and staff including interpretation of physician orders, preparation and dispensing of medications and IV solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree Graduate training in an accredited College of Pharmacy required
- Doctoral degree PharmD preferred
