Phlebotomy technician Jobs in Iowa city ia

The Department of Pathology is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician I to perform phlebotomy / specimen collection, and a variety of laboratory tasks related to phlebotomy : labeling specimens, telephone inquiries, and distribution of phlebotomy supplies. This position is 50% time, Monday - Friday between 0700-1800.

Duties to include :

• Performs phlebotomy draws.
• Performs computer data entry and other clerical tasks as required.
• Orders, receives, and distributes supplies.
• Responds to basic phlebotomy inquiries and otherwise represents assigned and related work areas.
• Administer select medications as designated per protocol.
