Job descriptionProven retouching experience with a portfolio demonstrating expertise in product, still life, and beauty imagery. Skills : Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Bridge) and Capture One Pro . Strong understanding of color correction and consistency techniques (compositing, blemish removal on products and skin, special effects, corrections, color grading, etc.). Attention to detail and exceptional time-management skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional team members. Advanced retouching techniques such as color grading and compositing. Knowledge of packaging file interpretation and application. We are seeking an experienced Photo Retoucher to join our client in the beauty industry for an 18-month contract . This is an full-time hybrid role , requiring attendance 4 days on-site per week . This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate on high-quality product, still life, and beauty imagery with a focus on retouching skin, hair, and products.
Pay : $28-32 / hr DOE
Responsibilities :
- Retouch images per feedback from Production, Photographers, and Art Directors.
- Follow established style guides to deliver consistent, high-quality results.
- Ensure color consistency across all images for the same product, matching images from various cameras and sets.
- Perform color correction for exact product matching.
- Execute advanced retouching, including compositing, blemish removal on skin and products and special effects, corrections, and color grading.
- Utilize tools like masking, adjustment layers, custom curves, and layer masks for knocking out backgrounds.
- Maintain non-destructive editing techniques to ensure flexibility and quality.
- Batch process and automate repetitive tasks for efficient formatting.
- Interpret packaging deco files in Adobe Illustrator and composite files on blank products.
- Use Adobe InDesign to gather and review images for sharing and feedback.
