This highly creative role is responsible for defining and driving Kendra Scott’s style positioning each season by curating relevant, on trend looks and supporting the curation of each season’s product range. This individual ensures that the product and stories articulate the essence of the brand while inspiring and providing our consumer with the styling inspiration they crave. The work includes styling looks both wardrobe and product focused for all channels inclusive of digital, print, social, wholesale, etc. The brand aesthetic and visual DNA are upheld by this individual in every aspect of content creation, ensuring coherence across story development, seasonal key looks, on-set styling, and photography. The successful candidate will be incremental in driving brand loyalty and omni sell-through.

This role reports into Sr. Director, Creative Services and will be assisting at every step of the marketing styling process from sample pass off, to completion of photoshoots. This individual will also work closely across all channels, partnering closely with the merchandising and product design teams, to ideate and formulate seasonal looks and messaging. The ideal candidate will have strong time management skills, exceptional organizational sense, and is eager to learn our styling aesthetic to ensure the integrity of our brand.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead brand styling by researching and bringing fresh creative thinking with a deep understanding of relevant trends across the jewelry, fashion, and lifestyle categories.
  • Collaborate with Brand Creative Team to support the conception and creation of looks and features for Brand photography to ensure we stand for authenticity in everything we do.
  • Help to develop photo shoot shot list and partner with Samples Coordinator on stakeholder feedback needs and direction.
  • Style on set for all Brand photo shoots or direct / manage any external stylist.
  • Plan, execute, edit, and launch Seasonal Styling Tools that direct and inspire our retail fleet of 125+ doors each season.
  • Partner with CRM and copy content leads to develop Seasonal Story Calendar that outlines cadence for key styling storytelling messaging.
  • Help to improve seasonal assortment, collaborate with merch and marketing teams to develop, and create seasonal assortments and storytelling opportunities.
  • Stay updated on current fashion trends, industry developments, and emerging styles to continuously innovate and elevate our visual content.
  • Partners with internal / external photo studio team to communicate the styling direction / changes for each season if necessary.
  • Responsible for all pre-shoot & post shoot preparation & organization (hang, steam, organize, packing, etc.)
  • Sample management on / off set (sample tracking and tag organization, dressing models, communicate shot / product info to digital techs and other assistants, etc.)
  • Responsible for taking notes in styling kick off meetings and reviews that pertain to outfitting and product information
  • Maintain organized records of wardrobe inventory, including clothing, accessories, and jewelry pieces, and ensure that they are properly handled and cared for.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have :

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years’ experience in styling, fashion and / or art direction for a high-growth company
  • A proven ability to break down larger initiatives into consumable achievable tasks to achieve departmental and company objectives
  • Proven experience in wardrobe styling, fashion design, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of jewelry styling techniques, including layering, stacking, and accessorizing.
  • Excellent eye for color, proportion, and detail, with a demonstrated ability to create visually striking looks.
  • Proficiency in trend forecasting and a passion for staying updated on the latest fashion trends and industry developments.
  • A solutions-oriented mentality with a data driven approach
  • Full understanding of branding and brand right creative
  • Full working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Powerpoint, Microsoft Office
