Position Summary :
Westminster University invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Management to begin August 2025. The successful candidate will demonstrate the potential for excellence in teaching, a commitment to student success in business education, and the ability to engage in the research of their discipline. We are interested in a candidate with a terminal degree in Management but with specialization in any of the fields of organizational behavior, leadership, and international business.
The 24-credit annual teaching assignment will include teaching graduate level classes including Leadership & Decision Making, Nonprofit Management, Ethics & Corporate Governance, and Competing in a Global Environment. Undergraduate courses will include Principles of Management, Organizational Behavior, Citizen Diplomacy, Global Business Strategy, and possibly coursework related to our growing Sports Management major. In addition, we have a strong commitment to financial and business literacy for our students and the broader community and would welcome a colleague interested in supporting the incredible work we are doing in the community, including programs in our renowned Westminster Center for Financial Wellness (https : / / westminsteru.edu / student -life / center-for-financial- wellness / index.html).
We are a small private comprehensive university with a liberal arts framework to our core curriculum. As such, faculty responsibilities include advising / mentoring, working with students outside of the classroom, participating in co-curricular activities, and serving on shared governance committees.
