PHYSICAL THERAPAPY ASSISTANT- FULL TIME

Lexington Health and Rehabilitation in St Petersburg, FL, is seeking a FULL TIME Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our amazing in-house rehabilitation team where you are valued and appreciated. As a team member, you can expect excellent leadership, supportive facility leadership, competitive rates and benefits, and a fun environment to work in.

The PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT position offers the following :

FULL TIME : Hourly with flexible schedule options which allow for balanced work life.

PAY : $29.00 to 34.00 an hour based on a range of factors

SIGN ON BONUS : $3000.00

JOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE :

Screening of residents of various cognitive and medical diagnoses

Knowledge and understanding of standardized assessments and evidence-based practice utilized to support clinical interventions.

Provide skilled Physical Therapy services to medically necessary residents with cognitive and functional mobility disorders to improve, maintain or prevent further deterioration.

Communication of progress and findings to PT to assess treatment plans to make clinical adjustments and decisions based on individual resident needs.

Monitor treatment plans for effectiveness to ensure residents’ functional outcomes.

Provided education and consultation to residents, families, caregivers, and facility staff related to Physical Therapy.

Complete all necessary clinical documentation through each resident case.

Communicates efficiently and effectively with Director of Rehabilitation, rehabilitation team members and other IDT staff regarding resident status, treatment plan, progress, barriers to progress and discharge planning.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRES :

Florida licensed / eligible in Physical Therapy Assistant

Knowledge of Net Health and Point Click Care

Professionalism, excellent communication, and time management skills

PTA of all experience levels
