JOB SUMMARY
As a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) at Catalyst Physician Group, you'll be a vital part of our team, helping our communities thrive by providing direct patient care and supporting clinical operations. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Functions independently to perform a broad range of medical services including, but not limited to the following :
- Patient Assessment
- Age appropriate history and physical
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as lab work and x-rays relative to a patients specific needs
- Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions
- Prescribing medication appropriately
- Annual exams
- Minor procedures
- Educating patients on disease prevention and positive health and lifestyle choices
- Documenting encounters in EMR
- Providing direction, coordination, and evaluation of patient care delivery
- Ensuring that standards and care quality levels are consistently followed
- Following all clinical safety protocols and infection control procedures
- Work well with a diverse group of professionals in a team environment
