Practice Setting : Hospital-Based Reason for Coverage : Vacancy in the position Dates of Coverage : August 2025 - Feb / March 2026 (6 mos) Call Schedule : n / a Call Ratio : n / a Patient population : Adult : 100% Trauma : 40%
Inpatient : 100% Average Number of Hospital-Based Patients Per Locum Per Day : avg census in Neuro ICU is 10pts, Neurosurgery consults avg 5 / night No other Neurologists be Present During Locum's Assignment 2 neuro intensivists in group and they will be available by phone at nights 3Advanced Practice Providers in Group Lab Onsite & Xray on site Typical level 1 trauma set up Documentation System / EMR : Epic Trauma Level / Designation : level 1 trauma, comprehensive stroke
Submission Requirements !MUST NOTATE ALL DURING NAME CLEARS!
- Board Certified / Board Eligible (PA or CNP licensed in Ohio) - REQUIRED
- Active OH license (willing to accept those who will obtain) - REQUIRED
- BLS, ACLS - REQUIRED
- ENLS - Highly preferred
- Must be comfortable covering a neuro ICU in a level 1 trauma center. Experience working with stroke patients. - REQUIRED (please note)
- APC that can cover a level 1 trauma center neuro ICU (16 beds) at night. This candidate will also cover neurosurgical consults at night - REQUIRED (please note)
