If you're an experienced music educator or accomplished working musician with a passion for teaching, we'd love to hear from you. We're looking for a Music Instructor to join our Alexandria team.
Keyboard Instructor: As a Piano/keys Instructor you will be responsible for all music education-related elements within the lessons and rehearsals, creating a dynamic experience to ensure students are challenged and inspired. The Piano Instructor/teacher positively embodies rock and roll and is responsible for creating a valuable student experience that helps our students learn music and life skills.
Why You'll Love Teaching HereJoin a collaborative team of musicians who believe live performance is the best way to inspire growth. You'll have opportunities to coach bands, direct shows, continue developing as an educator, and make a lasting impact by helping students build confidence, creativity, and life skills through music.
Many of our instructors balance teaching with performing, recording, or other musical pursuits, and we strive to build schedules that support both our students and our team.
What You'll DoAs a Music Instructor, you'll create engaging lessons and rehearsals that challenge, encourage, and inspire students while building confidence, musicianship, and valuable life skills through performance-based music education.
We teach guitar, bass, drums, keys, and vocals, and encourage instructors to share their broader musical talents throughout the school.
- Coach engaging private lessons and dynamic group rehearsals that prepare students for live performances.
- Teach the fundamentals of music—not just songs.
- Create thoughtful lesson plans while maintaining accurate lesson notes and Method App assignments.
- Build strong relationships with students and families through regular communication.
- Support rehearsals, school events, and the overall student experience.
- Follow the School of Rock Code of Conduct and all safety policies.
What We're Looking For

- 2+ years of music teaching and/or professional performance experience preferred.
- Experience teaching students of varying ages and abilities.
