Summary
Lincoln Electric has an outstanding opportunity for a Pilot Plant Technician. The Pilot Plant Technician plays in integral role in supporting our consumable product development and certification through prototype production and routine product performance evaluations using established procedures and work practices. Report to Consumable R&D Managers or their designees.

What You Will Do
- Manufactures small batches of experimental welding consumable products, provides feedback on manufacturability to engineers and scientists
- Provides technical support to engineers and scientists in areas such as operations, maintenance, safety, testing, process improvement or product development.
- Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles and manipulates technical data using established formulas and procedures and performs detailed mathematical calculations.
- Conducts and documents a variety of standardized tests; prepares routine test specimens using established procedures and / or drawings; sets up and operates standard test equipment; records test data
- Responsible for executing work in accordance with instructions provided
- Performs additional tasks as required by engineers or supervisor
- Responsible for the safe operation, cleanliness and routine maintenance of all assigned laboratory equipment
- Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company’s 2025 Strategy.
