Ferguson is currently seeking(1st Shift)Shift Pipe Yard Associates for our(Grand Prairie, TX)distribution center. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on, outdoor work and have experience in material handling environments, with a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and reliability.

Schedule

(1st Shift) Shift Schedule:Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00PM

Pay and Benefits

• Starting Pay: ($22.00) per hour

Qualifications

• Ability to work overtimeincluding extended hours as needed based on business demands
• Comfortableworking outdoorsand staying physically active throughout the shift, including lifting up to50 lbs, standing/walking for extended periods, and performing repetitive movements (bending, twisting, reaching)
• Prior warehouse, yard, or distribution experience preferred
• Experience operatingpowered industrial equipment(forklifts or similar) preferred
• Experience with, or readiness to learn, distribution technology such as RF scanners
• Regular and reliable attendanceand ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to following allsafety policies and PPE requirements
• Detail-oriented, team player with a strong work ethic and willingness to step in where needed

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts other yard powered industrial equipment (PIT) to move, load, and unload pipe and materials
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials for accuracy and quality
• Stock, organize, and maintain yard inventory to ensure efficient material flow
• Accurately pick, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment
• Prioritize daily tasks to meet shipping timelines and support operational needs
• Maintain product accuracy, quality, and safety at all times while following all established standard operating procedures for assigned task areas
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free yard environment
• Follow all safety procedures, OSHA standards, and company policies at all times
• Participate in safety observations, audits, and team meetings
• Communicate effectively with team members and support a collaborative work environment
