Job Description

We are seeking skilled Pipe Welders / Fitters to perform pipe welding and fitting on carbon steel and stainless steel. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various welding techniques and have experience reading blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform pipe welding and fitting.
• Pass a 6g Flux core pipe weld test.
• Pass a 3g T plate test.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Use various welding techniques including flux core, MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
• Handle materials such as stainless steel, carbon steel, and perform metal fabrication.

Work Environment

This position involves working in an outdoor environment which can be very hot. Safety is a priority, and the use of steel-toed ankle-high leather boots, long sleeves, and pants is required. The work is conducted in a smoke-filled environment, so contact lenses are not permitted. Shifts are available from Monday to Friday, with first shift running from 6am to 3 : 30pm and second shift from 3 : 15pm to 12 : 45am.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00
