Job Description
Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and skilled Welder who has a background in MIG and TIG welding.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform TIG welding on thin gauge aluminum, steel, and stainless steel.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols to determine specifications and tolerances.
- Operate a welding torch, guiding it along the weld joint while applying filler rod to form welds, including vertical and overhead lines.
- Position and clamp parts in jigs, fixtures, or on layout marks as needed.
- Select appropriate torch tips, filler rods, and flux based on welding chart specifications or metal type and thickness.
- Connect regulator valves, hoses, and welding torch to oxygen and fuel gas cylinders, adjusting gas mixture and pressure to achieve desired flame quality.
- Inspect welds for bead size and conformance to specifications.
- Repair metal objects, fill holes, and build up parts as required.
- Lay out, position, and tack-weld workpieces for assembly.
- Prepare weld surfaces by scarfing or grooving, cleaning, and degreasing as needed.
