Role Summary :
This Pipeline Expansion Co-Op will be an integral part of the Neuromuscular Research team member of pipeline expansion team and will have the opportunity to be trained in a variety of lab techniques and drug discovery processes. The Co-Op will contribute to research projects tackling in vitro and in vivo model characterization and therapeutical compound selection. The individual will have the opportunity to learn and obtain hands-on experience on key aspects of discovery research in an intellectually stimulating environment.
This role is based in Waltham, MA without the possibility of being remote. This is a 6-month position beginning in July.
Primary Responsibilities Include :
- The individual will contribute to the execution of the research plans for in vitro / in vivo studies with various bioanalytical methods including qRT-PCR and ELISA
- Participate in the design and execution of experiments to test the efficacy of drug candidates
- Diligently maintaining accurate and clear records of experimental work
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results
- Analysis of data and communicating findings to team members
- Follow general laboratory safety procedures, as related to biologically derived materials
- Present research findings at departmental and company-wide meetings
