Essential Job Duties :
The Transfer Coordinator position will in Academic Programs, within the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) at North Carolina State University. This role is designed to create a seamless and supportive pathway for students transferring from North Carolina Community Colleges into CALS degree programs, with a strategic emphasis on guiding students toward high-need programs that align with critical state and national workforce demands. The Transfer Coordinator will be responsible for targeted recruitment, specialized advising, instruction, and relationship management, serving as the primary point of contact for prospective and newly admitted transfer students. This position is critical for enhancing transfer student success, strengthening partnerships with community colleges, and advancing the college’s commitment to access, student achievement, and meeting agricultural and life science industry needs.
The Transfer Coordinator will be responsible for the following key areas :
