Safety Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated Safety Coordinator.

This role ensures a culture of safety, compliance, and proactive risk management across all project sites. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in safety protocols and OSHA standards within the construction environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Safety Program Management : Develop, implement, and oversee safety programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
• Site Inspections : Conduct regular site visits to identify hazards, evaluate safety risks, and ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Training and Education : Deliver safety training sessions for employees, subcontractors, and new hires, focusing on hazard awareness, proper equipment use, and emergency protocols.
• Incident Reporting : Investigate and document workplace incidents, near-misses, and injuries. Recommend corrective actions and implement preventative measures.
• Regulatory Compliance : Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations, including OSHA and EPA guidelines.
• Collaboration : Work closely with project managers, supervisors, and employees to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Safety Audits : Conduct regular audits of safety equipment, practices, and documentation.
• Emergency Response : Develop and update emergency response plans; provide on-site assistance in case of emergencies.

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or related field experience (not required).
