The Business Analyst, Product Planning is responsible for delivering business critical insights and driving optimization within the product team with a focus on merchandise planning and product development. This role ensures access to information through reporting, analytics and clear communication. By providing accurate, timely contributions, this person is a trusted partner on the product team.
JOB EXPECTATIONS
- Own all regularly product planning reports and provide insight on observed changes in business.
- Develop and own roadmap for data and analytics needs, planning for current and future needs.
- Collaborate with the cross functional team to provide analytical support and respond to ad hoc requests for information.
- Deliver high quality analysis built on business acumen and relevant analytical / statistical techniques.
- Provide creative solutions to problems by leveraging available data and tools.
- Build and maintain a “one source of the truth” set of analytical models / tables to ensure cohesive supply chain data.
- Ensure integrity and accuracy of all product data, escalating to appropriate resources when appropriate.
- Coach and train team members and communicate highly complex and dynamic information in new and creative ways.
- Continuously learn and apply new technologies, tools, and techniques.
- Other job duties as assigned.
