Job Title : Planning Engineer – Aerospace Fasteners

Job Description :

We are seeking a proactive Planning Engineer to join our team in the aerospace sector, specializing in the production of fasteners. The Engineer Planner will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating production activities to ensure efficient operations and timely delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and maintain production schedules for fastener manufacturing, ensuring alignment with demand and resource availability.

Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to optimize workflows and production processes.

Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Coordinate material requirements and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock situations.

Manage and prioritize manufacturing projects, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.

Facilitate communication between departments to address potential production issues and align on objectives.

Prepare reports and presentations on production planning metrics and trends for management review.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience in production planning or scheduling, preferably in the aerospace or manufacturing sector.

Proficiency in planning and scheduling software (e.g., MRP / ERP systems).

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

Preferred Skills :

Understanding of aerospace industry standards (e.g., AS9100).

Familiarity with fastener design and specifications.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Strong organizational and time management skills.
