Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a Network Planning Engineer II Position type : Contract- Full Time Duration : 12 months Location : Remote As a Network Planning Engineer II, you will : Job Summary & Responsibilities : Manages network elements for DWDM and data primarily in the metro space. This includes monitoring and evaluating capacity utilization for these networks as well as harvesting opportunities where capacity is no longer needed.Prepare network augment plans and specifications, to include gathering field dataSubmit capacity and harvesting augments as necessaryComfortably creates complex network designs from limited raw sets of dataRequires limited direction and guidance for completion of tasksAssures that the most feasible, practical and economical means to complete the work are utilizedSupports acquisition and implementation of hardware as well as subcontractor services as neededEncourages open communication and fosters a positive work environment. The ideal candidate will have : Bachelor's degree or equivalent education with 3+ years of relevant experienceSkilled in tactical planning and / or engineeringBasic engineering background covering SONET, Ethernet & DWDM technologiesBasic data / economic, analytical and problem-solving skillsDetail oriented with an intense focus on qualityAble to overcome various design complexities and challengesExceptional organizational, prioritization, communication and time management skillsFamiliar with PRO, ASRI, TIRKS and other technical applications of moderate complexitySkilled across multiple platforms with the ability to integrate new technology into existing networkUnderstand and adjust to potential process changes and other requirementsHas experience in metro transport planning with the ability to handle multiple competing prioritiesLeverages their knowledge and skills to deliver major projects within the deadline.Understand the interdependencies of platforms / other departments and how they impact each otherProduce communications that are concise and on point with a clear definition of problem statement, requirements, recommendations Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration! - 40-$45 per hour
