Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational plans, strategies, and objectives to meet production targets and business goals.
• Optimize production processes, resource allocation, and capacity planning to enhance plant efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor production output, efficiency, and quality, taking proactive measures to address any deviations.
• Establish and maintain rigorous quality control processes and systems to ensure the production of high-quality products.
• Ensure operations adhere to ISO 9001 requirements with a robust, proactive quality management system.
• Lead and motivate a diverse team of production staff, engineers, and support personnel, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement utilizing Lean (TPS) methodologies.
• Set performance goals, conduct performance evaluations, and provide coaching and mentoring to develop team members.
• Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the plant workforce.
• Promote and enforce a culture of safety, ensuring strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, identify potential hazards, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
• Manage plant budgets, monitor expenses, and identify opportunities to optimize costs without compromising product quality or safety.
• Work closely with the finance department to forecast expenses and contribute to overall financial planning.
• Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely and reliable delivery of raw materials.
• Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to understand customer needs, resolve issues, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives, encouraging innovation, and implementing best practices to enhance plant performance.
