A well-respected and growing company in thin gauge thermoforming is looking for a Plant Manager . Though it is currently a smaller site with a team of about 50, they are doubling in size thanks to the project to install two new inline formers!
They need a leader that can come in and hit the ground running - and that means someone with strong experience in thin gauge inline thermoforming. The site is relatively new (less than 5 years old) and needs to continue to grow into a high performing location with the right culture and approach. It is highly floor-focused and hands-on... while leading and holding the team accountable to deliver results in the right way.
With multiple manufacturing sites across their footprint, this is a highly visible opportunity given the impacts on overall capacity with the new planned capital investment. It is a privately held, growing company with a bright future!
- Bachelor's degree preferred; more than 5 years' experience leading a manufacturing team
- Must have strong base of plastics manufacturing experience; thin-gauge thermoforming is highly desired; extrusion experience is also a high want
- Must have a collaborative and communicative leadership style
