The US Cloud Engineering Offering focuses on enabling our client's end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud, with opportunities in the areas of Cloud Strategy and Op Model Transformation, Cloud Development & Integration, Cloud Migration, and Cloud Infrastructure & Managed Services. Cloud Engineering supports our clients as they improve agility, resilience and identifies opportunities to reduce IT operations spend through automation by enabling Cloud. We accelerate our clients toward a technology-driven future, leveraging vendor solutions, Deloitte-developed software products, tools, and accelerators.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
- 6+ years of experience with implementation, migrations and upgrades in AWS or Azure Public Cloud Environments
- Experience architecting and deploying AWS or Azure cloud services and infrastructure driven with Terraform IaC (Infrastructure as Code)
- Experience in developing Ansible driven solutions for automating the setup of applications and the integration points
- Experience setting up automated backups and patching for Windows and Linux platforms
- 4+ years of experience in at least one of the following scripting / programming languages for automating and developing solutions using Golang, Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- 4+ years of experience with Kubernetes runtimes such as OpenShift, RKE2, or EKS
- Experience administering ArgoCD and developing and deploying manifests for configuring Argo Projects and Applications into Kubernetes clusters
- Strong understanding of containerization technologies Docker, Podman, or containerd
- Strong understanding of developing and deploying Helm Charts and Kubernetes Operators
- Experience in configuring and managing applications within an Istio service mesh
- 3+ years of developing solutions with security technologies like Keycloak, Redhat IdM, and Hashicorp Vault, along with experience in managing secret storage, user authentication, certificate management, and application TLS
- Experience working with Palo Alto Networks and proficiency in dealing with end-to-end encryption to ensure secure communication across applications and infrastructure
- Experience in handling storage encryption, data at rest, and data in transit best practices
- Strong knowledge of DevOps practices with a focus in GitOps driven automation, development and testing with a strong working knowledge in Git source control management
- Experience building and deploying microservice based applications in cloud with Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment (CI / CD) tools and processes

- Must be in your designated office location 10%-30% of each work week
- Ability to travel 10% on average, based on the work you do, the clients you serve and industries / sectors you serve.
- Must live near, or relocate to, the Lake Mary, FL; Gilbert, AZ; or Mechanicsburg, PA areas
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
