Job Title: Mechanical and Plumbing Design EngineerJob DescriptionJoin our dynamic team as a Mechanical and Plumbing Design Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in the design and implementation of large government buildings, multifamily units, and office spaces. Your expertise will contribute to effective heating and cooling load calculations, as well as the design of plumbing and fire protection systems.
Responsibilities
- Design mechanical and plumbing systems for large government buildings, multifamily units, and office spaces.
- Perform heating and cooling load calculations.
- Create and manage designs using Revit, ensuring coordination with other disciplines.
- Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Manage project deadlines and interact with clients and architects effectively.
- Create construction documents for plumbing design, perform site surveys, and calculate load requirements.
Essential Skills- 5-20 years of experience working with plumbing systems including stormwater, sewer, drainage, and collection.
- Proficient in Revit for cutting sections, working within families, and coordinating with other disciplines.
- Ability to independently design projects without requiring markups.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and discuss design details.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and HVAC design.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience with plumbing/fire protection systems.
- Ability to perform site surveys and create load calculations.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $130000.00/hr.
