About the Role
We are seeking a Licensed Plumbing Engineer (P.E.) with experience in plumbing and fire protection system design for healthcare and K-12 projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Revit / Bluebeam and a deep understanding of building codes, ensuring the highest standards in system performance and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design plumbing and fire protection systems for healthcare and educational facilities.
- Develop detailed Revit models and construction documentation.
- Perform pipe sizing, flow calculations, and equipment selection for water, gas, sanitary, and storm drainage systems.
- Ensure designs comply with local, state, and national plumbing codes (IPC, NFPA, ASPE, etc.).
- Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, and contractors to integrate plumbing systems seamlessly into building designs.
- Conduct site visits to assess existing systems, provide recommendations, and ensure proper installation.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
