Job descriptionAssist Experienced Plumbers : Shadow experienced plumbers to learn about plumbing techniques, tools, and procedures. Assist with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. Learn to use plumbing equipment and tools safely and effectively under supervision. Parts Procurement and Delivery : Receive parts and materials shipments and organize inventory in the warehouse. Prepare and pack materials for delivery to job sites according to work orders and project requirements. Load and unload delivery vehicles and transport materials to and from job sites in a timely manner. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and delivery vehicles. Job Site Support : Assist plumbers with setting up and cleaning up job sites, including moving equipment and materials as needed. Provide support to plumbers during installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks. Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Learning and Development : Participate in training sessions and educational opportunities to expand knowledge of plumbing principles and practices. Seek guidance and feedback from experienced plumbers to enhance skills and performance. Take initiative to learn and improve, demonstrating a commitment to personal and professional growth. High school diploma or equivalent. No prior experience required; willingness to learn and develop skills in the plumbing trade. Strong work ethic and a positive attitude. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (if responsible for parts delivery).
