The Opportunity

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Manna Food Center is a transformative leader with the strategic acumen and passion to drive the organization towards its mission of ending hunger in Montgomery County, Maryland. As the key architect of Manna’s vision, the CEO will lead the organization in crafting and implementing a bold strategic direction that aligns internal and external efforts to meet and exceed the organization’s ambitious goals. This role demands a comprehensive approach to overseeing all facets of Manna Food Center’s operations, including food distribution, educational initiatives, and advocacy efforts, ensuring each area is effectively contributing to the mission.

The CEO will be at the helm of a dynamic and dedicated team, providing guidance and inspiration while working closely with the Board of Directors to align strategic priorities with organizational objectives. This position includes direct management of the Director Team, which involves setting clear goals, driving performance, and fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust blend of visionary leadership, operational expertise, and stakeholder engagement skills. They will be adept at navigating complex organizational dynamics and building strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, including community leaders, donors, and government officials.
