Company Description
Upright Athlete is a health and wellness facility based in Durham / Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The team consists of physical therapists, personal trainers, massage therapists, and nutritionists who offer state-of-the-art equipment and expertise to help clients reach their health and fitness goals.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Office Manager at Upright Athlete's main location in Durham, NC. The Office Manager will be responsible for day-to-day administrative tasks, providing excellent customer service, managing office equipment, and assisting with office administration duties.

- Proficiency with Office Equipment
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Experience in a similar role is a plus
- Knowledge of health and fitness industry is beneficial
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Compensation Structure
1. Base Salary : $35,000 to $40,000 annually, based on experience and
qualifications.
2. Healthcare Stipend : A monthly healthcare stipend of $400 will be provided to assist with
medical expenses and to pay co-pays and premiums.
Annual Stipend Value : $4,800
3. Retirement Benefits : SIMPLE IRA / 401(k) retirement plan with a 3% employer match will be available after
the first year of employment.
4. Performance Bonus : Eligible for a performance-based bonus of up to
10% of their annual salary if key performance metrics are met.
Maximum Bonus Potential : $3,500 to $4,000 annually, depending on base
salary.
5. Paid Time Off (PTO) : Unlimited PTO, subject to approval by clinic leadership, to promote
work-life balance while ensuring operational needs are met.
6. Total Potential Compensation (Including Bonus & Stipend) :
Base Salary : $35,000–$40,000
Healthcare Stipend : $4,800
Maximum Performance Bonus : $3,500–$4,000
Total Potential Compensation : $43,300–$48,800 per year
