Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager I, the Business Services Technician is responsible for performing tasks associated with reception duties, mail services, courier services, security cards, forms management and posting tags.

If you are a current state employee, but do not have transfer eligibility or list eligibility, you will need to have taken and passed the examination for this classification in order to be hired for this position. Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and / or appointment. If it is determined an applicant does not meet Minimum Qualifications, the applicant will be withheld from the eligibility list, rendering them inactive and ineligible to be hired for the position. Working Conditions
This position is located in Downtown Sacramento and requires daily in-office attendance. Employees must reside in California and be able to satisfactorily perform their essential work functions. Although this position is designated as "office-centric", the incumbent may be allowed to telework one day per week.
