The Service Technician supports the Spider Branch operations in attaining profitability, productivity, and safety goals by performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance and complex repairs on our hoist and scaffolding equipment. Must go on service calls to help customers.

Type : Full Time

Work Schedule : Monday - Friday, 6am - 2 : 30pm (must be flexible for OT)

Rate of Pay : $23-$27 (DOE)

Key Responsibilities :

• Enter, Troubleshoot, teardown, repair, reassemble, test, and perform maintenance on Safeworks standard equipment and accessories with direction and oversight
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.
• Perform highly technical mechanical or diagnostic tests working under the direction of a supervisor or service center lead.
• Provide service and customer support via phone / email and on the job sites.
• Accurately record parts and maintain accurate inventory.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the method and sequence of assembly of a part, machine, or piece of equipment.
• Verify dimensions of parts, using precision measuring instruments to ensure that specifications are met.
• Perform shop labor as needed to maintain an orderly, safe, efficient work environment.
• Package parts and materials for shipping.
• Perform other duties as directed.

The salary range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00 hourly. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.
