Description

At the Early Learning Centers of Boys and Girls Club of Truckee Meadows , we need early childhood staff interested in working variable schedules and at variable locations.

This position is different from our other roles, as it can accommodate your schedule, but we will be looking for applicants who are attending school for education or early childhood or with experience working with children.

Substitutes with the Early Learning Centers need to be willing to work with all children from ages 6 weeks to 5 years and will :

• Check children in and out
• Give bottles to infants and feedsolid foods as age appropriate
• Change diapers
• Put infants, toddlers, and preschoolers to sleep atnap time
• Soothe infants by singing to and cuddling them
• Supervise and play with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers on the floor
• Lead toddler and preschooler lessons
• Understand your emotions and children's emotionsthroughConscious Discipline
• Ensure play, sleep and changing areas are kept clean
• Clean toys at end of day

All in groups of the following sizes :

Location : Substitutes are interviewed at one location but will be scheduled at any of our area locations, so applicants will need reliable transportation.
