Senior Power Systems Manager
The Senior Power Systems Manager plays a critical role in providing expert technical support for Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS). This position requires a highly technical, customer-focused, and self-motivated individual who has strong leadership skills. As a key member of this world-class team, the manager will lead the technical strategy and high-level studies for FACTS projects. Responsibilities include developing a team of application and systems engineers who are responsible for analyzing customer system-level requirements, performing studies, and developing strategies and high-level specifications for Synchronous Condenser, Fixed Series Capacitors and Static Synchronous Compensator solutions.
General :
- Provide technical oversight for a team of highly skilled engineers in the execution of system engineering analysis to provide solutions developed to optimize grid interconnected generation, transmission or distribution.
- Drive engineering tools strategy in the development of FACTS solutions.
- Provide leadership, direction, oversight, and coaching for engineers as a technical mentor, including career development and regular performance reviews.
- Participate in industry working groups (IEEE, Cigre, IEC) in the creation and application of industry standards as applied to FACTS.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $113,200.00 and $188,800.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility : discretionary annual bonus.
