Press Operator | Henderson, NV
Nexeo is hiring an experienced Press Operator to support flexographic printing operations for a global provider of sustainable packaging, labeling, and trim solutions used by major apparel and footwear brands. This is a great fit for someone who takes pride in producing clean, accurate, high-quality printed materials and enjoys hands-on production work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate flexographic printing presses according to job specifications
- Read and interpret job orders to determine materials, color requirements, and production details
- Install printing plates, sleeves, anilox rolls, and doctor blades
- Mix inks and adjust color matching, tension, registration, and alignment for multi-color jobs
- Inspect printed samples for clarity, consistency, and proper color accuracy
- Clean press components, trays, hoses, sleeves, and other equipment parts
- Perform routine press maintenance and monitor supply levels
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with additional production tasks to meet daily output goals
