The Sr. Analyst / Specialist, Pricing is responsible for analysis, reporting and pricing of a prime consumer and commercial auto loans.
Key activities are to develop consistent and reliable reporting and analysis to understand and communicate trends, metrics, and business results needed to drive better planning, pricing, and sales activities.
A key part of this role is to generate regular reports which are used for pricing strategy decisions, monitor BAU pricing programs, contribute to analysis for new program launches, proactively generate & review reports on implemented programs to monitor observed and expected results.
Researches, develops and implements competitive commercial and consumer auto loans rates to maximize profits.
Creates and maintains pricing grids in Excel and SQL.
Ensures products meet regulatory and industry standards.
Uses a variety of methods to perform pricing research and analysis.
Develop and implement action plans based on multi-organizational reviews of key metrics and root causes for trends that are not proceeding within expectations.
Collaborates and contributes to defining pricing rules / policies and monitors auto pricing.
Conducts research and analysis for new product launches, not including implementation.
Evaluates, polices, and helps educate others on pricing policies and rules.

Work Experience :
3+ years in an analytical field or work focused on analytical projects. Experience with consumer lending data (home / auto / cards) is preferred.
Advanced knowledge of data analysis including skills to develop analysis queries and procedures in SQL for data segmentation, aggregation, reporting and interpretation of results; using advanced joins and techniques to bring related data from different databases to perform analysis.
Education :
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics or equivalent work experience. Master’s Degree in STEM related field or MBA preferred.
Skills and Abilities :
Hands on excellent proficiency on SQL to write queries to fetch data
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office products specifically Excel, Powerpoint and Word.
Proficiency in SAS is and Python preferred.
Attention to detail, excellent organization, ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to implement procedures and guidelines.
Rigorous and focus on results.
