Valiant Integrated Services is seeking an experienced Principal Training and Development Specialist / Battlemaster Controller (BMC) to join our team at Wheeler AAF, HI. The role supports the Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations (TADSS) Maintenance Program (ATMP), including systems like the AH-64D Longbow Crew Trainer (LCT), UH-60M TBOS / BAT, UMS, CH-47F TFPS, and AVCATT training devices. ATMP leverages advanced systems integration and engineering to provide live, virtual, and constructive (LVC) training support, enhancing joint and combined arms training for US military personnel.
Essential job functions include, but are not limited to :
- Operating TADSS workstations and providing familiarization training, primarily in AVCATT.
- Planning and scheduling work, conducting briefings, and site tours for senior officers, training units, civilian personnel, and foreign dignitaries.
- Attending management, customer, and contractual meetings.
- Assisting the Project Manager with safety program implementation and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Designing and administering training programs for all personnel levels.
- Operating and programming systems like SAF and related exercise control systems per military doctrine.
- Managing mission configurations, maintaining proficiency, and working closely with customers on scheduling, mission planning, and reviews.
- Maintaining reports on training utilization and addressing customer concerns.
- Conducting on-site and online training courses, developing technical manuals, and reviewing external training programs.
- Performing PMCS, troubleshooting, and repairs of training systems.
- Supporting equipment installation, maintenance, property management, and logistics.
- Participating in special projects and performing additional duties as assigned.
Required qualifications include a degree or equivalent experience in relevant fields, extensive technical training experience, familiarity with Army aviation systems, and security clearance eligibility. Other qualifications involve physical ability, travel willingness, communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office. The work environment involves office and flight simulator settings, with travel to various locations.
