The incumbent Senior Mechanical Engineer / Designer will primarily work from home and work in our office, or at a client site, on an as-needed basis. What You Will be Doing : As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Interface, you will be taking ownership as a discipline leader on multiple projects. Your duties will include (but may not be limited to) : Leading MEP Mechanical Design Projects for buildings in the commercial, medical, education, transportation, hospitality, retail, and other industries. Oversight (EOR) for the preparation of mechanical drawings, sketches, analysis, specifications and calculations. Leadership of Mechanical design staff. Providing construction administration & site observations related to your projects. Providing exemplary service to team members and clients. Developing and executing business with new and existing clients. To Qualify for Application : The successful Senior Mechanical Engineer / Designer candidate should have : 10-15 years’ experience in positions of increasing leadership in the commercial A / E engineering field Advanced knowledge of HVAC systems in healthcare, educational, and commercial sectors. Knowledge of industry codes and standards.
