Job Title : Press Operator
Job Description
As a Press Operator, you will review job specifications for material and set-up requirements, perform or delegate set-up tasks, and monitor the equipment and product throughout the job run to ensure a high-quality product. You will also perform moderately complex troubleshooting related to product or equipment and communicate effectively during the shift and at shift hand-off.
Responsibilities
- Actively participate in company safety programs and contribute to a safe culture.
- Perform training as needed.
- Meet or exceed established quality and productivity standards utilizing standard work procedures.
- Implement, perform, and sustain housekeeping procedures to maintain the work area and equipment.
- Participate in project teams as needed.
- Recommend and implement process improvements.
- Fill in for other Operators as needed, including covering absences or breaks.
