Looking for Printing press operator

We currently have an openings on 1st shift (6 : 00 am - 2 : 00 PM), 2nd shift (2 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM) or 3rd shift (10 : 00 PM - 6 : 00 AM), Monday - Friday.

The Printing Press Operator position is responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the operation and maintenance of the printing press. Responsibilities include setting up the printing press, production run, quality inspection, cleaning and general housekeeping of work area and all other duties required to support the achievement of the company's business goals and objectives.

Essential Functions :

Prepare and operate press for printing

Install plates and rollers

Determines ink and stock needed for production

Routine maintenance to include cleaning and lubricating the press

Remove printed material from press and inspect for quality

Blend and test ink and solvents for conformance to specification

Controls operation of auxiliary equipment

Direct activities of press assistant

Keeps daily materials usage reports

Monitors press to ensure press is operating at specified levels

Cleaning and general housekeeping of work area

Understand and follow all safety rules and procedures

Miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor

Pay will be based on experience.

Printing Press Operator Qualifications :

Good Attitude

Willingness to learn and the ability to work as part of a team

Strong mechanical skills

Strong problem solving skills

Strong attention to detail

Previous experience running a printing press is required
