Job Summary
Veolia Water Technologies and Solutions is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Process Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding water treatment process engineering design principals as well as the interrelated engineering principals like instrumentation and controls, mechanical and operations. These skills will enable monitoring and optimizing the water treatment process, for UF, MBR, RO, EDI and other water treatment methods for Municipal, Industrial customers. You will also work closely with a matrixed organization to identify and implement process improvements ensuring customer satisfaction.
Duties & Responsibilities
Develop in depth understanding of water treatment process engineering principals and designs for wastewater, drinking water and industrial applications that you will be responsible for. Including an understanding of how interrelated system components make up a functioning water treatment plant e.g. Instrumentation and controls, mechanical (pumps, valves) and programming.
Daily duties will extend to
In depth data manipulation, analysis, and timely troubleshooting
Creating customercentric technical reports that analyze process and operations data to validate against design criteria, identifying anomalies, and assessing risks so to provide recommendations to manage or eliminate risks in a proactive way
Engineering document review, Including Piping and InstrumentationDiagrams, Process Design, Process Flow Diagrams and / or Mass Balances, Controls documents as well as your own research and development into specific processes or issues that may need addressed.
Following QAQC procedures to validate and maintain Data quality for your projects.
Work with service project managers to aid in the design andimplementation of upgrades and project work to existing water plants.
Manage customer expectations, confidently deliversound technical guidance to ensure any plantcan be utilized as a positive reference for Veolia; and identify opportunities for future sales.

Troubleshooting and problem solving water treatment systems

Working effectively within a matrixed organization building a network across multiple teams to promote continual professional development.
Education & Experience
Required :
Previous experience with membrane systems, Reverse Osmosistreatment process Engineering, Operations, Commissioning, Field Service ordesign experience.
High School Diploma is required
4 year degree in Chemical / Environmental / MechanicalEngineering or Chemistry preferred; or 3 yr Diploma preferred but not required.
Equivalent water experiencewill also be considered for this position
Demonstrated written and oralcommunication skills
Proven ability to multitask onseveral concurrent projects
Travel up to 10% of the timeto perform plant process audits, troubleshooting and cleaning assistanceat customer sites and assist in managing the client relationshipoverall.
Preferred :
Experience with data manipulation, analytics development, data science.
Proficient in Data analysis and interpretation utilizing BI Tools
Experience and basic knowledge ofinstrumentation, control valves, rotating equipment, centrifugal pumps,chemical addition pumps and centrifugal compressors, is an advantage.
Salary Range : $67,000 -$75,000
