In this highly visible position in our Engineering department you will :

  • Review and analyze historical yield and process data for the weld, heat treat and braze processes and execute on process improvement actions to improve stability and consistency.
  • Design and conduct designed experiments (DOEs) to determine the process parameters that impact finished product. Implement controls on key parameters.
  • Write work instructions to drive consistent results.
  • Design / validate fixtures and tooling to support braze, weld and heat treat.
  • Conduct process failure analyses to determine root cause and corrective / preventive actions.
  • Maintain pFMEAs for each process based on the types of failures, frequency of occurrence and ease of detection. Prioritize actions on the highest process risks.
  • Support NADCAP compliance.
