As a member of the continuous improvement team, oversee the operation of cutting-edge automation systems within our 355,000 sq ft pharmaceutical returns warehouse. This role is critical in enhancing operational efficiency and accuracy through the ongoing optimization of advanced technologies. Operates and troubleshoots automation systems, components, or circuits for use within a warehouse environment. May use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform assignments. Applies principles and techniques of mechanical, electrical, or controls engineering to improve equipment reliability, institute innovative solutions and technology to accomplish company goals. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Works alone or as a team member to manage projects from conception to execution. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Primary accountabilities :
- Responsible for the ongoing operation and optimization of installed automation systems. This includes identifying and implementing improvements in methods, procedures, technology, equipment, or workflow
to increase throughput and / or accuracy.
