Job Title : Electrical Technician – Modular Building Services Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team in Vacaville, CA. As an industry leader in modular space and storage solutions, we offer the opportunity to perform electrical installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance on modular buildings used across various environments such as construction, education, commercial, and industrial sectors. Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in modular units, including wiring, lighting, outlets, breakers, and panels.

Diagnose electrical issues and perform corrective actions in accordance with NEC and company standards.

Conduct inspections to ensure safety, compliance, and operational readiness of modular units.

Support refurbishment and modification of modular buildings, including electrical upgrades and retrofits.

Collaborate with production, HVAC, carpentry, and service teams to meet project timelines.

Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed.

Ensure all work is performed safely and efficiently in accordance with company policies and OSHA requirements.

Essential Skills

Minimum 5+ years of electrical experience in commercial, industrial, or modular environments.

Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and troubleshooting techniques.

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.

Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor or shop environments as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

HVAC experience and EPA certification (strong plus).

Experience working with modular buildings, mobile offices, or construction trailers.

California electrical certification or journeyman-level experience.

Familiarity with plumbing, carpentry, or general maintenance tasks.

This is a Contract position based out of Vacaville, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $45.00 / hr.
