Job Posting
American National is seeking a full-time, Payment Processor. You will be cross trained on the primary areas to include payment processing, check / ACH fraud review, treasury projects, information reporting, and how to best support internal business areas with transaction inquiries. To be successful in the position you should enjoy teamwork, be detail oriented with an ability to meet deadlines, have basic Excel skills, and customer service focused.
Onsite Placement Location : League City, Texas
Accepting internal applications through September 16, 2024, end of business day.
What will you do?
Electronic payment processing through various bank portals; analyzing and verifying supporting documents, and accounting coding for payment requests
Meet daily bank cutoffs for executing transactions and clearing exception items
Analyze and resolve potential check / ACH fraud
Finalize payment
Review trends in cash activity and other known pending transactions to set the daily cash position by calculating the current day cash needs and initiate bank transfers to fund accounts
Qualifications :
Relevant payment processing, general accounting, or accounts payable work experience
Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel program
SAP. knowledge, beneficial
