We are looking for :
The Polymer Additives Business Partner will acquire market knowledge to develop, share, implement, and manage purchasing strategies. They will conduct key negotiations, manage and monitor processes and resources, and ensure suppliers adhere to company's Sustainable Development / CSR strategy.
You will work with suppliers to establish local safety stock to minimize raw material inventory on hand, deliver value creation, which includes cost and cash savings, and maximize Days Payable Outstanding (DPO) to improve the Cash Conversion Cycle, while ensuring an uninterrupted supply of goods and services under optimal conditions.

- Set objectives for, supervise, motivate, coach, develop, and evaluate your team members.
- Stay informed about market trends and developments, as well as any financial, legal, and competitive factors relevant to your domain and scope.
- Benchmark purchasing policies, processes, and approaches against those of other relevant companies to ensure best practices.
- Consolidate and gather purchasing needs for your portfolio across the Group.
- Regularly meet with internal stakeholders to understand their business, challenges, and procurement requirements.
- Prepare for and participate in Strategic Sourcing Decision Committee (SSDC) meetings, when necessary, in line with Company's Purchasing Process.
- Ensure alignment between purchasing strategies and internal customer needs and escalate conflicts to management when necessary.
- Collaborate with internal customers and management to set priorities and develop project plans and actions.
- Implement projects and action plans, allocate necessary resources, and ensure ongoing follow-up.
- Meet with potential suppliers / subcontractors, and negotiate contract terms based on SSDC approval, when applicable, due to contract value or strategic importance.
- Discuss negotiation outcomes with internal customers and management.
- Ensure contracts are approved by the Company's legal department (if required) and finalized with suppliers.
- Finalize contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) with selected suppliers and subcontractors.
- Review compliance across all contracts within your responsibility.
- Communicate and implement purchasing contracts within your area, ensuring relevant stakeholders are informed.
- Monitor supplier performance and adherence to contractual agreements.
- Collect and analyze data on contract performance, providing regular reports to internal customers and management.
- Resolve contract-related disputes and mediate conflicts between internal stakeholders.
- Continuously evaluate supplier performance.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, productivity improvements, and innovation, and propose measures to achieve these benefits.
- Suggest, implement, and monitor cost-reduction projects while supporting the contractualization process.
- Establish processes to ensure effective communication within your network.
- Promote and uphold purchasing ethics, ensuring adherence to policies and ethical standards within the network.
- Explain purchasing processes and methods to internal customers to ensure clarity and compliance.
- Track and report on actions taken and cost savings achieved.
- Prepare, propose, implement, and monitor budgets, objectives, policies, and procedures for your domain.
