Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Solid understanding of business operations and procurement processes. Experience with ITAR regulations a PLUS. Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR / DFARS) or other highly regulated industries such as aerospace, defense, or aviation a PLUS. Salary Range : $66,000 - $76,000 per year, based on experience Comprehensive benefits package consisting of Medical, Dental and Vision. Praxis Resources contributes 95% of the cost for employees and dependents. Eligibility is 1st of the month following date of hire Supplemental benefits are available which include Voluntary Life Insurance, Short Term Disability and Long-Term Disability. Who We’re Looking For :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Procurement Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for purchasing goods and services essential to company operations while ensuring compliance with all quality, regulatory, and cost requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in regulated industries and possess strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure the company’s supply chain needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Review and analyze costs to support strategic purchasing decisions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Identify opportunities to optimize costs and vendor performance.
- Collaborate with warehouse personnel to manage and track inventory.
- Create and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
- Track orders and resolve issues, including price disputes and delivery concerns.
- Solicit bids and evaluate vendor proposals.
- Identify potential supplier risks and manage supply chain disruptions.
- Monitor stock levels to maintain optimal inventory.
