Job Description
Job Overview
Performs administrative and office support activities providing customer service, clerical, secretarial, processing, mail sorting / delivery services, and / or internal Financial related duties, which may require varying degrees of independent judgment. Positions in this series normally support a Unit, Division, and / or Department.
Salary
34,320 - $61,876
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role will possess a strong blend of initiative, independent judgment, and administrative expertise. In this position, they will exercise a varied degree of responsibility, taking on a range of administrative, office support, and customer service duties. This includes performing procurement and accounting functions using basic arithmetic and applying numerical concepts to prepare or update purchase orders / agreements for materials and supplies using established contracts. These duties will require the individual to have a strong ability to interpret contractual documents details in order to ensure that all authorization / approval of prepared documents meets the agency's policies, procedures, ordinances and regulations. Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively as well as exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Bilingual Spanish preferred however not required.
