Job Description :
L3Harris is looking for a Procurement Lead to join our team at our Jefferson Road Operations Center. In this role you will plan and implement activities related to the procurement of materials, goods and services in compliance with regulatory requirements. As a subject matter expert in Supply Chain, you will train and mentor junior employees, develop work instructions, and lead improvement projects. This position has the potential to expand into a management role with a team of 10+ reports.
Essential Functions :
- Analyze and interpret engineering drawings / schematics to understand the procurement and manufacturing requirements.
- Send RFQs to obtain quotes, examine bids, and make awards.
- Compile and analyze statistical data to determine feasibility of buying products and / or services.
- Review proposals, negotiate prices, select or recommend suppliers.
- Source and purchase direct materials necessary for operation of the organization.
- Ensure supplier compliance via an internet supplier portal (eXpo PO tracking) and responsible for item part data attribute accuracy.
- Participate and contribute to departmental and company-wide process improvements and lean initiatives.
- Sustain success metrics (Delivery, Cost, Lead Time, Inventory, etc), incorporating best practices, and effectively communicating improvements.
- Partner with Category Management to support implementation of strategic initiatives, as well as activities related to global sourcing, supplier selection, product delivery specifications, and quality.
- Ability to Obtain a US Security Clearance.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Vermont, Washington State and New York State is $84,000 - $156,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
