The Procurement Manager will be responsible for vendor selection, contract negotiation, budget oversight, and inventory tracking to ensure seamless procurement operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in strategic sourcing, cost analysis, and supplier management , with a strong focus on equipment procurement and lifecycle tracking .
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full procurement lifecycle from sourcing to final delivery, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely acquisitions.
Conduct market research and vendor assessments to identify high-quality, competitively priced equipment suppliers.
Oversee procurement budgets , ensuring expenditures align with company objectives while optimizing cost efficiency.
Negotiate vendor contracts and pricing for new store equipment, remodel projects, and ongoing operational needs.
Identify and onboard new vendors , enhancing supply chain resilience and expanding procurement options.
Support project managers in procurement-related closeout activities and ensure documentation compliance.
Conduct on-site visits to verify equipment installations, maintain quality assurance, and resolve procurement concerns.
Assist in equipment lifecycle tracking , including warranty management, service contracts, and vendor coordination for repairs and replacements.
Manage purchase orders, contract terms, and procurement transactions in alignment with company policies.
Monitor and maintain real-time inventory tracking to prevent shortages and supply chain disruptions.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, safety regulations, and industry standards .
Continuously analyze procurement processes for improvement opportunities to enhance cost savings and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field .
5+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management , with a focus on equipment sourcing.
Expertise in procurement and inventory systems , with the ability to analyze data for strategic purchasing decisions.
Strong understanding of procurement strategies, cost analysis, and budgeting to drive cost savings.
Proven negotiation skills , with experience in managing vendor contracts and building supplier relationships.
Strong analytical and research capabilities to assess market trends and procurement opportunities.
Attention to detail in purchase tracking, contract management, and quality assurance .
Effective communicator with experience in vendor negotiations, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder coordination .
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and adapt to evolving business needs .
