Responsibilities :

• Develop and Implement Procurement Strategies :
• Develop procurement policies, processes, and systems to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Build a spending tracker for all direct materials and develop a procurement strategy with our external manufacturer.
• Supplier Management :
• Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure the procurement of high-quality materials at competitive prices. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers.
• Develop and execute strategies for buying and delivering materials to support external manufacturing needs
• Cost Optimization : Monitor market trends and conduct cost analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and value improvement without compromising quality.
• Risk Management : Assess and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain and procurement process. Develop contingency plans to ensure consistent supply in case of disruptions.
• Inventory Management : Collaborate with the supply chain and production teams to ensure proper inventory levels, reduce excess stock, and ensure timely material availability.
• Regulatory Compliance : Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and corporate policies related to procurement activities.
• Performance Metrics : Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure procurement efficiency, supplier performance, and overall cost savings.
• Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with other departments, including R&D, Quality, and Finance, to align procurement activities with company goals and projects.
• Continuous Improvement : Lead initiatives to improve procurement processes, enhance efficiency, and drive innovation within the supply chain.
