Job description


Johnson Service Group is seeking a detail-oriented Contracts & Procurement Coordinator to support contract administration, procurement activities, reporting, and document management.

Candidates must currently reside in the local area and be able to reliably commute to San Jose, CA. This role is not eligible for remote work or relocation.

Responsibilities:

  • Review scopes of services and related documentation.
  • Draft contracts, amendments, and related documents.
  • Prepare statistical and other reports.
  • Assist with document production related to public records requests and audits.
  • Input and maintain data in the ERP system and insurance compliance platform.
  • Follow up with firms to obtain and maintain required insurance documentation and ensure compliance.
  • File and maintain documents in shared drives and the ERP system.
  • Assist with special projects and other administrative assignments as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of public procurement principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Experience drafting contracts, amendments, and related documents.
  • Three (3) years of experience performing administrative, operational, management, or financial analysis involving complex issues.
  • Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, with major coursework in public administration, business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
  • Valid California Driver’s License.
  • Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong document management and administrative skills.
  • No CalPERS members


$50.55/hr. Contract
